The Columbus Catholic Sailors football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Union Knights to 13 in the Sailors league triumph on Friday.

The Sailors now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Aplington-Parkersburg for a 1A District 4 challenge on Friday, October 17. Columbus Catholic will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 27-14 league win over Hudson (Hudson, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Union drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Knights host Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA) to clash with the Cougars in a 1A District 4 outing on Friday, October 17. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 1-6. Sumner-Fredericksburg lost 27-20 in their recent league outing against Jesup (Jesup, IA)
