October 3, 2025: Hudson, IA 50643 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) and the visiting Union Knights (La Porte City, IA), saw Hudson's football team prevail over Union by a tally of 27-18.
The Pirates (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA). The Falcons enter the 1A District 4 contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Aplington-Parkersburg was outscored by Jesup (Jesup, IA), 20-19, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Knights battle the Columbus Catholic Sailors (Waterloo, IA) in a 1A District 4 contest, on Friday, October 10. Union will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Sailors enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 39-8 league win over Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA).
