Panther Creek Panthers (Frisco, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Community Braves (Nevada, TX), 63-21 in a league battle.

With the win, Panther Creek advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Panthers host Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX) to play the Falcons in a 4A-1 Region II District 7 battle on Thursday, October 16. The Falcons come into the match with a record of 4-2. Lake Dallas won 56-8 in their recent league match against Community (Nevada, TX)

Coming up next, the Braves confront the Aubrey Chaparrals (Aubrey, TX) in a 4A-1 Region II District 7 match, on Friday, October 17. Community will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Chaparrals come into the match with a 1-6 record after their 49-17 league loss to Paris (Paris, TX).
