The Connellsville Falcons football team (Connellsville, PA), was crushed 52-12 in Friday's non-league bout with the host University Hawks (Morgantown, WV)

With the win, University upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Hawks host Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV) to confront the Cardinals in a Eastern Panhandle contest on Friday, October 17. The Cardinals enter the contest with a record of 4-2. Spring Mills won 51-7 in their recent league contest against Washington (Charles Town, WV)

Coming up next, the Falcons confront the Uniontown Red Raiders (Uniontown, PA) in a Freelance match, on Friday, October 17. Connellsville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Red Raiders enter the match with a 2-6 record after their 38-0 non-league loss to Northern Garrett (Accident, MD).
