North Carolina High School Football - Hickory Ridge holds off Cox Mill

The Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) football tipped the host Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC), 23-20 in Friday's league outing.

The Ragin' Bulls now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host A.L. Brown for a Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A contest on Friday, October 17. Hickory Ridge will battle a Wonders squad coming off a 39-21 league win over Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Wonders record now stands at 4-3.

Coming up next, the Chargers battle the West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) in a Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A bout, on Friday, October 17. Cox Mill will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 20-17 league loss to Olympic (Charlotte, NC).
