The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) and the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC), witnessed Central Cabarrus's football squad knock off Hickory Ridge by a tally of 27-6.

The Vikings (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Olympic (Charlotte, NC). The Trojans go into the Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Olympic beat Cox Mill (Concord, NC), 35-14, in a league bout.

The Ragin' Bulls now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host West Cabarrus for a Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A bout on Friday, September 26. Hickory Ridge will encounter a Wolverines team coming off a 35-6 league win over Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-3.
