In Friday's league game, the Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX) football team triumphed over the host Eastern Hills Highlanders (Fort Worth, TX), by a tally of 48-14.

In their next game, the Porcupines battle the Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles (Fort Worth, TX) in a 4A-1 Region II District 5 outing, on Friday, October 17.
