The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX) and the visiting Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX), saw Springtown's football team gain a win over Decatur by a final score of 63-36.

With the win, Springtown advances its record to 10-0 on the season.

The Eagles now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Southwest for a 4A-1 Region II District 5 bout on Friday, November 7. Decatur will encounter a Raiders team coming off a 40-7 league win over Western Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 4-5.
