The Decatur Eagles football squad scored 68 points and limited the visiting Carter-Riverside Eagles to 0 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastern Hills for a 4A-1 Region II District 5 test on Friday, October 3. Decatur will face a Highlanders team coming off a 34-28 league win over Western Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-2.

The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Springtown (Springtown, TX). The Porcupines enter the 4A-1 Region II District 5 challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Springtown bounced Southwest (Fort Worth, TX), 49-20, in a league challenge.
