The Eastside Eagles football team (Taylors, SC), was outscored 43-30 in Friday's league contest with the host Riverside Warriors (Greer, SC)

The Warriors (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gaffney (Gaffney, SC). The Indians enter the AAAAA Region 2 contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Gaffney gained a win over James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC), 28-16, in a league contest.

Next up, the Eagles encounter the James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC) in a AAAAA Region 2 contest, on Friday, October 17. Eastside will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Rebels enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 28-16 league loss to Gaffney (Gaffney, SC).
