Texas High School Football - Franklin wallops Troy

The Franklin Lions football squad scored 68 points and limited the visiting Troy Trojans to 27 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Little River Academy for a 3A-1 Region III District 11 test on Friday, October 17. Franklin will meet a Bumblebees squad coming off a 55-21 league win over Rockdale (Rockdale, TX). The Bumblebees record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, Troy drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX) to meet the Yoemen in a 3A-1 Region III District 11 test on Friday, October 17. The Yoemen come into the test with a record of 2-4. C.H. Yoe lost 20-17 in their recent league challenge against McGregor (McGregor, TX)
