Idaho High School Football - Garden Valley nipped by Salmon River

October 10, 2025: Riggins, ID 83549

The Salmon River Savages football squad scored 52 points and limited the visiting Garden Valley Wolverines to 50 in the Savages league triumph on Friday.

The Savages now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Council for a 1A Long Pin (8 Man) test on Friday, October 17. Salmon River will meet a Lumberjacks team coming off a 46-7 non-league win over Notus (Notus, ID). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 5-1.

The Wolverines (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Cascade (Cascade, ID). The Ramblers go into the 1A Long Pin (8 Man) challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Cascade was edged by Tri-Valley (Cambridge, ID), 74-0, in a league challenge.
