The Notus Pirates football team (Notus, ID), dropped 38-15 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Salmon River Savages (Riggins, ID)

The Savages (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-Valley (Cambridge, ID). The Titans enter the 1A Long Pin (8 Man) contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Tri-Valley thwarted Garden Valley (Garden Valley, ID), 64-20, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Pirates confront the Centennial Baptist Mustangs (Caldwell, ID) in a 2A - Western Idaho (8 Man) contest, on Friday, October 3. Notus will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 68-32 league loss to Rimrock (Bruneau, ID).
