West Virginia High School Football - Gilmer County thwarted by St. Marys
October 10, 2025: Glenville, WV 26351 St. Marys Blue Devils (St. Marys, WV) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Gilmer County Titans (Glenville, WV), 42-20 in a league battle.
With the win, St. Marys advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Blue Devils host Magnolia (New Martinsville, WV) to play the Blue Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, October 17. The Blue Eagles go into the battle with a record of 0-6. Magnolia lost 34-22 in their recent non-league battle against Frontier (New Matamoras, OH)
The Titans now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Webster County for a Little Kanawha match on Friday, October 17. Gilmer County will confront a Highlanders squad coming off a 40-14 non-league loss to River View (Bradshaw, WV). The Highlanders record now stands at 2-4.
