October 10, 2025: Frisco, TX 75035

The Wakeland Wolverines football squad scored 45 points and limited the host Heritage Coyotes to 0 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.

The Wolverines now hold a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Frisco for a 5A-1 Region II District 5 test on Thursday, October 16. Wakeland will face a Raccoons team coming off a 48-17 league win over Sherman (Sherman, TX). The Raccoons record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Heritage drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX) to meet the Trail Blazers in a 5A-1 Region II District 5 test on Friday, October 17. The Trail Blazers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Lebanon Trail won 28-27 in their recent league test against Centennial (Frisco, TX)
