The Wakeland Wolverines football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Sherman Bearcats to 13 in the Wolverines league win on Friday.

The Bearcats (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX). The Trail Blazers go into the 5A-1 Region II District 5 challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Lebanon Trail lost by Lone Star (Frisco, TX), 47-0, in a league challenge.
