The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) and the host Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX), saw Lone Star's football team bounce Sherman by a final score of 49-3.

With the win, Lone Star advances its record to 7-0 on the season. The Rangers host Wakeland (Frisco, TX) to confront the Wolverines in a 5A-1 Region II District 5 contest on Friday, October 24. The Wolverines enter the contest with a record of 8-0. Wakeland won 35-28 in their recent league contest against Frisco (Frisco, TX)
