In Friday's league match, the host San Jacinto Christian Academy Patriots football squad scored a good 44-22 victory over the Holy Cross Crusaders.

The Patriots (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Christ the King Cathedral (Lubbock, TX). The Golden Lions enter the TAPPS Six-Man Division III District 1 (6 Man) match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Christ the King Cathedral thwarted West Texas Tornadoes (Slaton, TX), 54-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Crusaders confront the Holy Cross Catholic Academy Mustangs (Amarillo, TX) in a TAPPS Six-Man Division III District 1 (6 Man) match, on Friday, October 17.
