In Friday's league game, the Christ the King Cathedral Golden Lions (Lubbock, TX) football team edged the visiting San Jacinto Christian Academy Patriots (Amarillo, TX), by a margin of 32-28.

The Golden Lions now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holy Cross for a TAPPS Six-Man Division III District 1 (6 Man) outing on Saturday, November 1. Christ the King Cathedral will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 37-36 league win over Kingdom Prep Academy (Lubbock, TX). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-5.

With the defeat, San Jacinto Christian Academy drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Patriots host Holy Cross Catholic Academy (Amarillo, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a TAPPS Six-Man Division III District 1 (6 Man) contest on Friday, October 31.
