The Houghton Lake Bobcats felled the visiting Roscommon Bucks football team by a score of 22-12 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Bobcats face the Lake City Trojans (Lake City, MI) in a Highland challenge, on Friday, October 17. Houghton Lake will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 56-6 league loss to McBain (McBain, MI).

With the defeat, Roscommon drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Bucks host Manton (Manton, MI) to meet the Rangers in a Highland test on Friday, October 17. The Rangers come into the test with a record of 4-3. Manton lost 34-30 in their recent league test against Pine River Area (Leroy, MI)
