Michigan High School Football - Houghton Lake tops Lake City
October 17, 2025: Lake City, MI 49651 The Houghton Lake Bobcats football squad scored 34 points and limited the host Lake City Trojans to 8 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.
The Bobcats now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beaverton for a non-league test on Friday, October 24. Houghton Lake will meet a Beavers squad coming off a 54-0 non-league loss to Clare (Clare, MI). The Beavers record now stands at 3-5.
With the defeat, Lake City drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI) to face the Irish in a non-league game on Saturday, October 25. The Irish enter the game with a record of 3-4. Sacred Heart Academy lost 35-0 in their recent non-league game against Nouvel Catholic Central (Saginaw, MI)
