The Knightdale Knights football squad scored 43 points and limited the visiting Vance County Vipers to 0 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now hold a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wake Forest for a Northern Six 6A/7A test on Friday, October 17. Knightdale will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 42-0 league win over East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Vance County drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Vipers host Heritage (Wake Forest, NC) to meet the Huskies in a Northern Six 6A/7A test on Friday, October 17. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 2-5. Heritage won 23-20 in their recent league challenge against Franklinton (Franklinton, NC)
