South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad nudge the host Manchester Valley Mavericks (Manchester, MD), 21-14 in a league match.

The Cavaliers (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Brunswick (Brunswick, MD). The Railroaders come into the non-league match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Brunswick was nudged by Middletown (Middletown, MD), 42-7, in a non-league match.
