The South Carroll Cavaliers ran past the visiting Francis Scott Key Eagles football squad by a count of 23-7 in Friday's non-league test.

The Cavaliers now hold a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Middletown for a Class 2A1A West test on Friday, November 7. South Carroll will meet a Knights squad coming off a 40-7 league win over Walkersville (Walkersville, MD). The Knights record now stands at 7-2.

With the defeat, Francis Scott Key drops to 1-8 on the campaign.
