Texas High School Football - Plano West can't hold off McKinney

McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Plano West Wolves (Plano, TX), 28-24 in a league match.

The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Prosper (Prosper, TX). The Eagles go into the 6A Region I District 6 battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Prosper nipped Plano (Plano, TX), 45-14, in a league battle.

The Wolves now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Allen for a 6A Region I District 6 battle on Friday, October 17. Plano West will play a Eagles team coming off a 62-14 league win over Princeton (Princeton, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-0.
