In Friday's league match, the visiting Red Lion Christian Academy Lions football squad scored a decisive 35-0 triumph over the Milford Buccaneers.

The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Odessa (Townsend, DE). The Ducks come into the non-league match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Odessa routed Milford (Milford, DE), 44-6, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Buccaneers play the Lake Forest Spartans (Felton, DE) in a 2A District 3 challenge, on Friday, October 17. Milford will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 63-0 league win over Delmar (Delmar, DE).
