The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Red Lion Christian Academy Lions (Bear, DE) and the host Delaware Military Academy Seahawks (Wilmington, DE), witnessed Red Lion Christian Academy's football squad wallop Delaware Military Academy by a tally of 40-7.

The Lions (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Polytech (Woodside, DE). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Polytech was crushed by Odessa (Townsend, DE), 49-12, in a league bout.

The Seahawks now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Milford for a non-league bout on Friday, October 31. Delaware Military Academy will encounter a Buccaneers team coming off a 30-0 non-league loss to St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE). The Buccaneers record now stands at 2-6.
