The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Trivium Prep Crimson Knights (Goodyear, AZ) and the host Mountainside Wolves (Wittmann, AZ), witnessed Trivium Prep's football squad edge Mountainside by a tally of 20-14.

The Crimson Knights (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Desert Star (Fort Mohave, AZ). The enter the 2A Metro 4 contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Desert Star was nudged by Veritas Prep (Phoenix, AZ), 35-7, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Wolves battle the Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ) in a 2A Metro 4 bout, on Friday, October 17. Mountainside will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Honey Badgers go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 57-0 non-league loss to Tanque Verde (Tucson, AZ).
