The Portola Tigers (Portola, CA) football tipped the visiting Williams Yellowjackets (Williams, CA), 17-13 in Friday's league outing.

The Tigers now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Biggs for a Mid-Valley game on Friday, October 17. Portola will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 36-6 league win over Quincy (Quincy, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-3.
