California High School Football - Portola loses to Maxwell

October 24, 2025: Maxwell, CA 95955

Maxwell Panthers (Maxwell, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Portola Tigers (Portola, CA), 38-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Maxwell advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA) to confront the Braves in a Mid-Valley match on Friday, October 31. The Braves enter the match with a record of 8-0. Hamilton won 42-0 in their recent league match against Williams (Williams, CA)

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Redding Christian Lions (Palo Cedro, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 31. Portola will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 8-0 record after their 49-0 league win over Etna (Etna, CA).
