The River Dell Golden Hawks felled the host Teaneck Highwaymen football team by a score of 45-17 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Hawks play the Pascack Valley Panthers (Hillsdale, NJ) in a Super - Patriot Blue challenge, on Friday, October 17. River Dell will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 35-7 league win over Paramus (Paramus, NJ).

The Highwaymen (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Paramus (Paramus, NJ). The Spartans go into the Super - Patriot Blue challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Paramus went down by Dumont (Dumont, NJ), 28-14, in a non-league test.
