The River Dell Golden Hawks football squad scored 48 points and limited the visiting Bergenfield Bears to 7 in the Golden Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Hawks now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Teaneck for a Super - Patriot Blue test on Friday, October 10. River Dell will meet a Highwaymen squad coming off a 32-30 non-league loss to Passaic (Passaic, NJ). The Highwaymen record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Bergenfield drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Millburn (Millburn, NJ) to face the Millers in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 10. The Millers go into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Millburn lost 36-20 in their recent league challenge against Nutley (Nutley, NJ)
