West Virginia High School Football - Riverside knocked off by Woodrow Wilson
October 10, 2025: Beckley, WV 25801 In Friday's non-league game, the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV) football squad defeated the visiting Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV), by a tally of 42-18.
The Flying Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Princeton (Princeton, WV). The Tigers enter the Coalfield AA contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Princeton gained a win over Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV), 35-14, in a league contest.
Next up, the Warriors encounter the South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) in a Mountain State bout, on Friday, October 17. Riverside will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Black Eagles go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 62-15 league win over St. Albans (St. Albans, WV).
