The Riverside Warriors football team (Belle, WV), was tipped 17-15 in Friday's league bout with the host Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV)

With the win, Spring Valley advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Timberwolves host Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV) to confront the Indians in a non-league contest on Friday, October 10. The Indians enter the contest with a record of 6-0. Bridgeport won 49-14 in their recent non-league contest against Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD)

Coming up next, the Warriors confront the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 10. Riverside will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record.
