The Southwest Roughriders football squad scored 55 points and limited the visiting Wauneta-Palisade Broncos to 12 in the Roughriders league triumph on Friday.

The Roughriders now hold a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Sumner-Eddyville-Miller for a D6 District 4 (6 Man) challenge on Friday, October 17. Southwest will play a Mustangs team coming off a 54-13 league win over Paxton (Paxton, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-1.

The Broncos (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wallace (Wallace, NE). The Wildcats go into the D6 District 4 (6 Man) test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Wallace triumphed over Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE), 70-33, in a league test.
