The Stuarts Draft Cougars football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Staunton Storm to 7 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waynesboro for a Shenandoah challenge on Friday, October 17. Stuarts Draft will face a Little Giants team coming off a 13-7 league win over Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Little Giants record now stands at 3-3.

The Storm (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Bison enter the Shenandoah challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Buffalo Gap fell by Alleghany (Covington, VA), 27-11, in a league challenge.
