In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Nocona Indians volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Archer City Wildcats.

The Indians (23-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Henrietta (Henrietta, TX). The Bearcats come into the non-league challenge with a 6-15 record. In their last challenge, Henrietta was beaten by Jacksboro (Jacksboro, TX), 3-2, in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olney for a 2A Region I District 8 test on Tuesday, October 14. Archer City will face a Cubs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Petrolia (Petrolia, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 13-16.
