In Friday's league challenge, the host Fort Edward Flying Forts volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hadley Luzerne Eagles.

The Flying Forts (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hartford Central (Hartford, NY). The Tanagers go into the Section 2 Adirondack test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Hartford Central went down by Argyle (Argyle, NY), 3-0, in a league test.

The Eagles now sport a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granville for a Section 2 Adirondack test on Wednesday, October 15.
