In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Payson Longhorns volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Fountain Hills Falcons.

The Longhorns (21-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Coyotes come into the non-league challenge with a 7-16 record. In their last challenge, Combs beat ALA - Anthem South (Florence, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Falcons play the Casa Grande Cougars (Casa Grande, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 10. Fountain Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 14-12 season record.
