North Carolina High School Soccer - Covenant Day knocks off Providence Day
October 11, 2022: Matthews, NC 28105 Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions confront the Charlotte Latin Hawks (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 13. Covenant Day will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Cannon (Concord, NC).
The Chargers now have a 2-6 record.
