Georgia High School Softball - Worth County bounces Fitzgerald
October 11, 2022: Fitzgerald, GA 31750 The Worth County Rams routed the host Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane softball squad by a count of 16-2 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Rams (10-17) will now prepare for their battle against Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA). The Purple Hurricane go into the 2A Region 1 battle with a 6-17 record. In their last battle, Fitzgerald topped Turner County (Ashburn, GA), 21-3, in a non-league battle.
The Purple Hurricane now sport a 6-19 record. They play next when they host Worth County for a 2A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, October 11. Fitzgerald will meet a Rams squad coming off a 10-1 league loss to Dodge County (Eastman, GA). The Rams record now stands at 8-17.
