In Tuesday's league battle, the host Mayfield Trojans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Alamogordo Tigers.

The Trojans (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Gadsden (Anthony, NM). The Panthers come into the 5A District 3 battle with a 8-8 record. In their last battle, Gadsden lost by Centennial (Las Cruces, NM), 3-0, in a league battle.
