In Tuesday's league contest, the Breese Central Cougars (Breese, IL) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Freeburg Midgets (Freeburg, IL), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Columbia Eagles (Columbia, IL) in a Cahokia (Mississippi Division) contest, on Thursday, October 13. Breese Central will attempt to better on its 19-8 season record.
