October 11, 2022: Wharton, TX 77488 The Wharton Tigers volleyball team (Wharton, TX), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Navasota Rattlers (Navasota, TX)
The Rattlers (24-12) will now prepare for their challenge against El Campo (El Campo, TX). The Ricebirds enter the 4A Region IV District 25 challenge with a 19-9 record. In their last challenge, El Campo was dropped by Bellville (Bellville, TX), 3-2, in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Needville Bluejays (Needville, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 25 challenge, on Friday, October 14. Wharton will attempt to move on its 8-21 season record. The Bluejays enter the challenge with a 17-21 record after their 3-0 league win over Royal (Brookshire, TX).
