New York High School Volleyball - Newburgh Free Academy Beacon
October 11, 2023: Beacon, NY 12508 The Beacon Bulldogs topped the visiting Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs now have a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league contest on Friday, October 13. Beacon will battle a Presidents squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Presidents record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, Newburgh Free Academy moves to 2-10 on the year. The Goldbacks travel to Middletown (Middletown, NY) to battle the Middie Bears in a non-league contest on Thursday, October 12. The Middie Bears go into the contest with a record of 0-14. Middletown lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY)
