New York High School Football - Hannibal can't hold off Beaver River
October 11, 2024: Beaver Falls, NY 13305 Beaver River Beavers (Beaver Falls, NY) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Hannibal Warriors (Hannibal, NY), 2-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Beaver River advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Beavers host Gloversville (Gloversville, NY) to play the Huskies/Dragons in a non-league battle on Friday, October 11. The Huskies/Dragons go into the battle with a record of 2-3. Gloversville lost 41-0 in their recent league battle against Glens Falls (Glens Falls, NY)
The Warriors now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Sandy Creek for a Section 3 D - North West battle on Saturday, October 19. Hannibal will play a Comets team coming off a 20-15 non-league win over Mt. Markham (West Winfield, NY). The Comets record now stands at 4-1.
