New York High School Football - Beaver River crushed by Cato-Meridian
October 18, 2024: Cato, NY 13033 Cato-Meridian Blue Devils (Cato, NY) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Beaver River Beavers (Beaver Falls, NY), 52-20 in a league battle.
With the win, Cato-Meridian advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Sandy Creek (Sandy Creek, NY) to play the Comets in a Section 3 D - North West battle on Thursday, October 24. The Comets go into the battle with a record of 5-1. Sandy Creek won 53-3 in their recent league battle against Hannibal (Hannibal, NY)
The Beavers now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Pulaski for a Section 3 D - North West battle on Friday, October 25. Beaver River will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 66-0 non-league loss to Dolgeville (Dolgeville, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-5.
