In Friday's league match, the host Bishop Lynch Friars football squad scored a close 28-24 triumph over the Legacy Christian Academy Eagles.

The Friars (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Nolan Catholic (Fort Worth, TX). The Vikings come into the TAPPS Division I District 1 match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Nolan Catholic was nudged by Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX), 62-13, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Prestonwood Christian Lions (Plano, TX) in a TAPPS Division I District 1 match, on Friday, October 18.
