Thayer Academy Tigers (Braintree, MA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Brooks (North Andover, MA), 14-13 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Thayer Academy improves its record to 1-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Belmont Hill (Belmont, MA) to play the Sextants in a Independent School ISL-7 battle on Saturday, October 19. The Sextants go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Belmont Hill lost 34-13 in their recent league battle against Buckingham Browne & Nichols (Cambridge, MA)

The now have a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. George's for a Independent School ISL-9 battle on Saturday, October 19. Brooks will play a Dragons team coming off a 7-0 league win over Groton School (Groton, MA). The Dragons record now stands at 1-3.
