October 11, 2024: Milford, TX 76670 The Milford Bulldogs football squad scored 43 points and limited the visiting Covington Owls to 28 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Avalon for a 1A 6 Man 1 Region III District 9 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 18. Milford will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 62-16 non-league win over Oakwood (Oakwood, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-0.
With the defeat, Covington drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Owls host Walnut Springs (Walnut Springs, TX) to meet the Hornets in a 1A 6 Man 1 Region III District 9 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 18. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 3-4. Walnut Springs lost 66-18 in their recent league test against Blum (Blum, TX)
